How does the process work?

Charles wants this process to be personal, confidential, and tailored to your desires as a business owner. He wants to work together to create a smooth transition for minimal impact on your employees and customers. Typically, the following steps are taken to get to know your business:

  • An introductory call to learn more about you and the business you lead

  • Sign an NDA to maintain confidentiality for review of high-level financial information

  • Schedule an in-person visit to get to know each other better

  • Request additional data and ask secondary questions to further evaluate the business

  • If appropriate, put together a valuation of the business and discuss the future together

  • Sign a Letter of Intent and begin a detailed due diligence process — the entire process will take approximately 3-6 months
